Support for gun rights is higher than it’s been in decades, according to the latest data from the Pew Research Center that signals a stunning turnaround in how Americans feel about the issue just two years after the Newtown school shooting.
And its a trend that’s growing. Here in Colorado, the state Senate went GOP for the first time in a decade in large part because of the gun rights. After the Aurora theater shooting, the state passed a couple VERY unpopular gun control laws..and two Democrat state senators (including the CO state Senate President!) were recalled; the first time that had been done in the state’s history! The overwhelming majority of Americans simply want the right to “keep and bear arms.”
